Free Standing Lace

FSL (Free Standing Lace) is where a design is machine embroidered onto special water-soluble stabiliser, which is dissolved in water leaving just the lace embroidery behind. This is then left to air-dry before being carefully pressed with a warm iron leaving a beautiful delicate and stiff decoration.
